Perfect for InDesign and Illustrator users

Acrobat is my default PDF viewer and I haven't looked back. Perfect for somebody like myself that works in Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator with graphics and documents in .PDF format.

Industry Standard

It allows you to manage the PDF files within the most common tasks: merge, split, compress, convert, etc, although most of these features are only available in the Pro (paid) version. It is Tier1 application when we talk about PDF editors - probably the most well-known PDF application. It offers some security features like password encryption/protection. It is available in different desktop/mobile platforms. It's integrated in Adobe Cloud.

Why I Prefer Adobe Acrobat for PDF Creation, Viewing and Editing

Adobe Acrobat enhances PDF creation, viewing and navigation in one place. The pro version offers optical character recognition (OCR) tool that allows users to convert scanned files into editable PDFs.
