Great tool needs some more work

Overall, my experience with Fiverr was positive. The platform served as a valuable resource for accessing global talent quickly and affordably. It enabled our business to scale resources up or down based on project needs without the long-term commitments of traditional hiring. However, to maximize the benefits, it was crucial to invest time in thoroughly vetting freelancers—reviewing their portfolios, client feedback, and ratings—to ensure they aligned with our quality expectations. With careful selection and clear communication, Fiverr proved to be an effective tool for meeting our freelance staffing needs.

They protect scammers

Absolutely horrible, would only recommend it with lots of caution and maybe a legal team on your side. There customer support is next level horrendous and absolutely useless to get any kind of help beyond what they deem to be acceptable even if it impacts you as the customer negatively.

Fiverr's Small Business Support

A lot of options to subcontract when you are a small business. There's almost every kind of service offered. I also like the suggestions based on my purchases and what I wanted to do or what I might want to do next. The old adage, "you get what you paid for," certainly applies here. Trying their A.I. feature to get matched up with freelancers of a higher calibre proved to be quite beneficial. The standard was higher and the work was exceptional.

I give Fiverr (five dollars) to drop the extra "r," but I'm happy overall.

Upon discovering Fiverr, I remember thinking, "Why hasn't someone already designed a platform like this...it's exactly what the market needs." Side note, I didn't like the name "Fiverr" at first - that extra "r" just irked me to no end, LOL. Then someone (I believe it was a client) explained that the name was a play on the idea of finding service providers for $5. I thought that was cute & made my peace with the moniker. But I was hooked on the platform, the first time I received payment for writing, advising, and leveraging my expertise. The payments came in handy & I got to meet some wonderful people. I also enjoyed hiring folks to help me with my projects. It was a win-win for me.

Positive experience so far with as-needed services

I tend to come to Fiverr for tedious tasks (mostly editing) that I do not want to do myself and it is easy to pay someone to help. I like that I do not have to hire an employee and can just enlist these freelance services on an as-needed basis. I like the communication channels that Fiverr has in place to make sure that the buyer and freelance agent are both on the same page and cooperative.
