I love the ease of use, the up-to-date documentation, and the product capabilities.

We primarily use DataDog as a monitoring and communication tool. Alerts are sent out daily to a wide variety of users and non-users to keep them up to date on what is happening, when it happened and when it was recovered.

Metrics collection and it's representation, also would like to engage in RUM and synthetic monitoring.

Datadog is one of my favorite tools in every day work. Some of my favorites include: - great API, - very flexible and informative dashboards, - great integrations with various providers and application, which greatly improve visibility, - a lot of libraries (eg. ruby-kafka) which integrate with Datadog, - easy to deploy in numerous ways, ie. Kubernetes, ECS, Ansible.

Datadog provides a single place to collect all our metrics/logs/traces and integrated ways to look at them.
